Notice anything odd about Joe's helmet?
Well, that picture is a little blurry.
Take a look from this angle:
Above the white dot, notice the little lump stuck to the top of his helmet.
I guess when you're down to your last piece of bubblegum, and it's only the 5th inning, you want it to last!

oh HONESTLY, do you really think he'd put his gum on his helmet? of the all places... really. i'm sure there's more to it than that.
for some reason i think that justin did it...i don't kno y but i just do!
A communal gum-storage pipe. Now THAT is gross.
The world may never know. BG, I have seen the "gum storage pipe" as well, kind of gross.
