I fear, however, that Luis may return, as in Tales From the Crypt, to haunt the Metrodome infield. That may be a fitting punishment for Mr. Ryan and Mr. Gardenhire, but for the fans and teammates, it will be a nightmare of the worst kind - recurring.

I'm pretty sure he will be back at some point this season, if not as an injury replacement in August, then he might be recalled to hang around when the rosters expand in September. But his extended prospects with the club are finished. Management has admitted that he's been surpassed by other players on the organizational depth chart. He won't be back next year.
If only there were another stone for the 'tool, if you know what I mean.
